Virtual meetings

Regarding “A Virtual Face-to-Face Encounter” (July 17): You don’t have to own a Mac. For about a $250 street price, get a D-Link i2eye. Camera included, no computer needed.

Plug it into your TV and broadband connection. Plug a phone into it if you don’t want to use the built-in microphone and TV speakers. Dial with the included remote control or the telephone keypad.

The i2eye is standards-based, so not only will it work with other D-Link video phones, it works with NetMeeting and other standards-based programs and products.
