Plane Crashes on Takeoff, Killing Four
From Times Wire Reports
A skydiving plane crashed as it was taking off from an airport in Jeannette, killing four of the five men aboard, officials said.
The survivor was found 10 to 15 feet from the plane, but the extent of his injuries was not immediately known, said Ron Supancic, chief of the Claridge Volunteer Fire Department.
An official said witnesses heard the plane’s engine sputter and cut out before the crash.
