vs. Seattle, 7, ESPN2

Site -- Staples Center.

Radio -- KPLS (830).

Records -- Sparks 9-1, Storm 4-4.

Record vs. Storm -- 1-0.

Update -- Tuesday’s loss in Detroit will give Coach Michael Cooper and staff the opening they need to iron out some wrinkles in the Sparks’ game. Despite having the WNBA’s best record, Los Angeles can still be creaky on offense; in six of their 10 games this season, including the Shock game, the Sparks’ shooting percentage has been under 41%. After beginning the season 0-3, Seattle has won four of its last five games, including a 61-60 decision over Phoenix on Tuesday. Lauren Jackson, averaging 19.4 points and 8.5 rebounds, is challenging Lisa Leslie’s status as the best post player in the league. It doesn’t hurt that Leslie and Jackson have extremely competitive games against each other.
