Beaten in the California Challenge Championship on May 31, Whosleavingwho will try to start another winning streak in tonight’s $159,100 Spencer L. Childers California Breeders’ Championship Handicap. The 400-yard race, a Grade 1, is part of a marathon 14-race card on “California Champions Night.”

The races, totaling $915,000 in purses, will include 12 stakes races restricted to Cal breds.

Whosleavingwho will break from the rail in the Childers and one of his five opponents is Catchmeinyourdreams, who beat him at 25-1 three weeks ago.

Besides the Childers, there are two other Grade 1s on the card. Magic And Rhythm heads a field of 10 3-year-olds in the $137,700 Governor’s Cup Derby and 10 2-year-olds will run in the $342,500 Governor’s Cup Futurity.
