Johnson Pursues His First Victory Again
Dennis Johnson will still be looking for his first victory as the Clippers’ interim coach tonight when they take on the Boston Celtics at the FleetCenter.
Johnson is 0-2 since replacing Alvin Gentry, who was fired Monday.
The Clippers may regain forward Lamar Odom. He is listed as a game-time decision after being sidelined by a right ankle injury.
Forward Elton Brand, the Clippers’ leading scorer and rebounder, will miss his sixth consecutive game because of a stress fracture to his left ankle.
Brand, who was not with the team for Wednesday’s loss at Washington, is expected to re-join and travel with the team for the remaining four games in the current six-game trip.
