Social Services Agency May Lose Its Care Grant
From Times Wire Reports
Santa Clara County’s Social Services Agency may lose a $1 million grant because the foundation that administers the money claims the county failed to make key changes to its foster care system.
In a letter disclosed Friday, the Annie E. Casey Foundation said it may withdraw its consultants and stop its support, once the grant runs out in June.
The foundation has had a three-year relationship with the county.
