Brandon Schnebly, Placentia El Dorado: Had four hits, including a three-run homer, and drove in five runs for the No. 11 Golden Hawks in a 12-3 Century League victory over No. 5 Anaheim Canyon.

Matt Morris, Orange El Modena: Had two hits, including a three-run homer, and drove in four runs in an 11-6 Century League victory over Brea Olinda.

Jeremy Harrison, Van Nuys Grant: Had a run-scoring single with two out in the bottom of the ninth inning in a 2-1 Sunset Six League victory over Sun Valley Poly.

SOFTBALL

Vanessa Zboril and Caitlin Kilroy, Orange: Zboril had a run-scoring triple and Kilroy followed with an RBI double in the sixth inning of a 3-1 Golden West League victory over Santa Ana Saddleback.

Candace Williams, Lake Balboa Birmingham: Had a run-scoring single in the bottom of the 10th inning in a 1-0 West Valley League victory over Granada Hills.

BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL

Kenny Markwardt, Huntington Beach: Had 30 kills for the No. 3 Oilers in a 17-15, 17-15, 15-11 victory over Corona del Mar.

BOYS’ TENNIS

Gary Sacks, Calabasas: Swept 6-1, 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles as the No. 10 Coyotes beat No. 5 Santa Barbara, 80-78, on games.
