* HealthSouth Corp. moved closer to bankruptcy protection as lenders said the company defaulted on terms to borrow $1.25 billion.
* Charter Communications Inc.’s treasurer has resigned, marking the latest high-profile departure from the cable television company as a federal grand jury probes its accounting practices. Ralph Kelly resigned March 14 “to pursue other career interests,” the company said.
* XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. said its fourth-quarter net loss widened to $155.9 million, or $1.76 a share, from $144 million, or $2.26, a year earlier. Sales jumped to $9 million.
* Univision Communications Inc. said it wants Mexico’s Televisa to repay $30 million it claims it overpaid when it bought Televisa’s Fonovisa record label last year. Televisa had no comment.
