Light-Rail Talk Aimed at Public
The Orange County Transportation Authority will sponsor a community meeting tonight in Costa Mesa to provide information about the proposed CenterLine light-rail project.
The meeting will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Hilton Hotel, 3050 Bristol St. Parking will be validated at the hotel.
OCTA plans to build an 11.4-mile light-rail system through Irvine, Costa Mesa and Santa Ana. Major stops would include the Santa Ana Civic Center, South Coast Plaza, John Wayne Airport and UC Irvine.
