Gun Makers Cleared of Promoting Violence

Rejecting a lawsuit brought by the NAACP, a federal jury cleared 45 gun manufacturers and distributors of allegations that their marketing practices have stoked violence in black and Latino neighborhoods.
The jury in New York City deliberated for five days before reaching its verdict in the case, which now goes to the judge for a final decision.
