UAL Corp.’s United Airlines and Delta Air Lines Inc. will restore flights in June, boosting service for the U.S. summer travel season as demand improves after the war in Iraq.

United is adding 162 flights, or 10% more than this month, including service from Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles and San Francisco as well as all flights to Europe that were cut as travel declined during the war. Delta increased its schedule by 113 flights, or 6%, from May.
