Funeral Company, Two Employees Charged

The world’s largest funeral services company and two employees were charged with felonies in Miami over human remains that were dug up and dumped in the woods to make room at an overcrowded cemetery.
The criminal charges stem from mishandled burials at two Menorah Gardens cemeteries in south Florida owned and operated by Service Corp. International of Houston, and its subsidiary, SCI Funeral Services of Florida Inc., state Atty. Gen. Charlie Crist said.
