Death Toll Rises to 5 in Cruise Ship Blast

The death toll from a cruise ship explosion rose to five, and one of the injured crew members filed a $1-billion lawsuit against the ship’s owner, Miami-based Norwegian Cruise Line.
All of the dead and injured were crew members on the Norway, where a boiler exploded.
The latest victim died at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where 12 other crew members were still being treated, said spokeswoman Maria Rosa Gonzalez.
