From Times Wire Reports

The last supersonic Air France Concorde to fly from Paris to New York was greeted with water spray and a rainbow as it landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Plagued by flagging demand and rising costs, the white-nosed Concorde took off from Paris for the last time in the morning for a final trip westward and will make its last Air France commercial flight on the return trip today.

Nearly three years have gone by since an Air France Concorde crashed, killing 113 people after taking off near Paris. The crash ground the planes for more than a year.
