Warning Issued About Bombs in Mailboxes

From Times Wire Reports

Eight pipe bombs were left in mailboxes and near homes in this rural Solano County community last week, and authorities are urging residents to consider picking up their mail from the local post office.

Five of the homemade devices exploded.

Although no one was injured and the bombs did not appear to be rigged to go off when a mailbox was opened, Solano County Sheriff Gary Stanton described the incidents as “domestic terrorism.”
