Stone’s Gift of Dickens

Re “Retired Professor Gives CSUN a Dickens of a Bequest,” Nov. 11:

Harry Stone’s generous gift to Cal State Northridge will, I’m sure, be enormously appreciated. However, he has given me an even more valuable gift: a lifelong love for the Victorian Age and Charles Dickens in particular. Dr. Stone was my professor for three incredible classes at CSUN, two undergraduate and one in the master’s program, and there is no way I can ever praise or thank him enough.
