From Times Wire Reports

NASA officials decided to delay the next shuttle flight until September at the earliest, saying they need time to make changes and repairs prompted by the inquiry into the Columbia disaster.

Columbia broke up over Texas during reentry on Feb. 1, killing seven astronauts. The three remaining shuttles have been grounded since then.

The new launch window is from Sept. 12 to Oct. 10, NASA officials said.
