23 Cuban Migrants, 1 Poodle Sent Home
From Times Wire Reports
The U.S. Coast Guard sent home 23 would-be Cuban migrants, along with a miniature white poodle that attempted to come to the United States.
The 23, picked up at sea in four groups since Thursday, were repatriated on a Coast Guard cutter.
The dog was found with a group of 12 migrants rescued from a raft 50 miles south of Key West on Friday, the Coast Guard said.
