Deportation Warnings
“Mexico Seeks Warning on Deportations,” Oct. 8: How hypocritical can Mexico get? Mexico has refused to send suspects accused of crimes in the United States back to the U.S. Now Mexico wants 72 hours’ advance notice when we deport criminals back to Mexico. Until officials in Mexico decide to stop being problem neighbors and start acting responsibly by returning criminals wanted by the U.S., we should not notify them when we deport criminals back to their home country.
