TV series: NBC is developing an American adaptation of the British series “The Office,” a workplace comedy that started its second season on the BBC America channel last Sunday.

TV concert: Missy Elliott will play the Wiltern on Oct. 30 in MTV2’s “2$Bill” concert series. Tickets, costing $2 each, go on sale next Saturday. The concert will be taped for airing on the cable channel starting Nov. 23.
