Premier Dismisses Criticism of Remarks

Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad shrugged off criticism and repeated his charge that Jews controlled the world, adding that he also was worried about Christian fundamentalists in the Bush administration.
But Mahathir told the Bangkok Post that his remarks last week had been taken out of context, noting that in his speech he had urged Israelis and Arabs to stop killing each other.
