A Suspected Al Qaeda Leader Held, Police Say

Pakistani intelligence agents and dozens of police commandos captured a suspected senior Al Qaeda leader in a raid in Faisalabad, a police official said.
The official would not identify the suspect or give his nationality but said a reward had been offered for his arrest and that he came from an Arab country. Interior Ministry officials were not available to confirm the arrest.
FBI agents were not involved in the operation, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
