Waste, Fraud and Abuse

Re “Davis Names Aides to Plum Posts,” Oct. 24: A $99,000 salary for a “part-time” post on the Medical Assistance Commission? Now, that indeed seems like an abuse of the Medi-Cal system. And both parties collude in perpetrating this waste of money. The particular people appointed matter less than the excessive salaries. Talk about the “spoils” system!
