Stage director -- A Quick Takes item in Friday’s Calendar incorrectly stated that the director of the Broadway production of Richard Greenberg’s “The Violet Hour” had changed. Evan Yionoulis is still the play’s director.

The production, which has seen other cast replacements and a change of director, is scheduled to open at the Biltmore Theater on Nov. 6. The play, originally commissioned by South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, tells the story of an ambitious young publisher at the beginning of his career in 1919 who must choose between publishing his lover’s memoirs or a friend’s novel.
