Courthouse Construction Could Start in December
From Times Wire Reports
Workers could begin construction of a $42-million addition to the Monterey County Courthouse within three months, officials said.
On Tuesday, Monterey County supervisors got an update on environmental documents covering the building. They acknowledged that budget problems make the timing unfortunate, but said that plans to start building remain on schedule for December.
Construction of the administration building is the second phase of a $78-million revamp of the courthouse complex.
