Robbery Suspects Back in U.S. to Face Charges
A couple suspected in a series of armed bank robberies around the West were extradited to Arizona and Colorado.
Craig Michael Pritchert and Nova Ester Guthrie were deported from South Africa, where authorities said they had been living since 2000. Pritchert was brought to Arizona and Guthrie to Colorado, each to face the first of a series of charges.
Guthrie and Pritchert are suspected of robberies in Arizona, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Texas and Oregon in the 1990s. Pritchert is a former Arizona State University baseball player.
