Seven Soldiers Killed in Chechnya

Seven Russian servicemen were killed in 24 hours in the separatist republic of Chechnya.
Three troops died in rebel attacks on Russian positions, an official in Chechnya’s Moscow-backed administration said on condition of anonymity. Three others died in a clash with rebels in the village of Goiskoye. The seventh soldier died defusing a mine, the official said.
