8 Indicted on Charges of Running Meth Lab
Eight defendants were indicted Friday in connection with a large methamphetamine lab in Trinity County, said U.S. Atty. McGregor Scott.
The eight face charges of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and other charges related to the production and distribution of the drug.
Seven of the defendants are in custody, except for fugitive Alejandro Carrillo. A warrant for his arrest has been issued.
The lab shut down in Trinity County was capable of producing 70-pound batches of methamphetamine.
The arrests were a result of a joint investigation by local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.
