Suspected Militants Arrested at Cyber Cafe
Intelligence agents arrested two suspected Al Qaeda militants at a Peshawar Internet cafe after catching them e-mailing other suspected terrorists, officials said.
Working on a tip, agents followed the men for two days and monitored e-mails they allegedly sent, two intelligence officials said on condition of anonymity.
Agents posing as customers arrested the two men after one of them, a Yemeni, sent an e-mail, the officials said. The other man’s nationality wasn’t disclosed.
The officials declined to comment on the content of the messages.
