We have excellent news for rock ‘n’ roll nightclubs: Dayle “Ears of Rock” Gloria is available. The veteran talent buyer, who spent the last three years reinvigorating the Viper Room by bringing in such acts as the Strokes, Dirty Vegas and Kings of Leon, celebrates her last night at the Sunset Strip nightclub (which is under new management) on Friday, with a performance by Whitestarr.... We hear Dublin’s Comedy on Tuesdays has been off the chain. Such hotties as Vince Vaughn, Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz are among the stars who’ve shown up to the Strip pub in recent weeks to guffaw with comedians, hosted by Ahmed Ahmed and Jay Davis.... Tonight, Ivar/Nacional/Paladar partner Rick Calamaro plans to debut his latest venture, Lincoln -- a chic American steakhouse in Santa Monica.... Guitarist Paul Warren, who played with the Temptations at sweet 16 and toured with the likes of Tina Turner, Joe Cocker and Rod Stewart, has a big to-do coming up Saturday at Harvelle’s. The Santa Monica nightclub is recording Warren and his band the Wreckers live. We recommend an early arrival.... And such lovely lasses as Bridget Hall, Rose McGowan, Molly Sims and Carmen Electra were among the divas dishing at Del Taco last night for Glamour magazine’s Fashion Don’t bash held at the fast food eatery on Santa Monica Boulevard.

Badaue offers lush fusion

The multi-culti band Badaue has been tearing it up Sundays at the Space, a Wilshire Boulevard nightclub (formerly Lush) that gives the young Brazilian band a chance to bring the noise with its energetic fusion of Asian, African and South and Central American rhythms.... Just when you thought short skirts were all the rage, Hot Pants makes a comeback. The rock ‘n’ roll variety show returns to Mr. T’s Bowl in Highland Park this Saturday, with performances by Nostradumass , the Send Effects, Tarawa, Barnacle and Kittens for Christian.... Time to dust off your bunny costume. The El Guapo Cantina is hosting an Easter party on Sunday with dozens of bunnies, i.e. vamped-up chicas in barely there bunny get-ups.... Speaking of bunnies, we hear Hugh Hefner’s 78th birthday party was a lovely affair. Such luminaries as Jack Nicholson, Jerry Buss and Stephen Dorff trotted up to the Playboy Mansion on Saturday to wish Hugh well.... L.A. rockers Tsar debuted songs off their upcoming album, “Band-Girls-Money,” at the El Rey Theatre on Monday night.... Camp Freddy is performing at Avalon in Hollywood on Tuesday as part of a celebration of new radio station Indie 103.1’s 103rd day on the air.
