Ex-Hostages Plan Business in Iraq
Seven Chinese men released Monday by Iraqi kidnappers want to forge ahead with plans to open a construction business there despite their ordeal, the government said today.
The men were captured Sunday in Fallouja after entering Iraq from Jordan, the Foreign Ministry said, adding that “their health and spirits are good.”
Two of them were hurt in a car accident before their capture and needed medical care, the official New China News Agency said, adding that some said they were treated well and provided with food and medical aid by their captors.
