A burglary ring that stole more than $1.5 million from hundreds of homes in Queens has been broken up through the arrests of more than 60 people, police said.

Authorities said members of the ring would break into as many as six homes a day, mostly targeting Chinese and Indian immigrants. About 300 homes were robbed, police said.

Most of the thieves had ties to Cali, Colombia. Many were related, linked through romantic relationships or lived on the same street in Queens, police said.
