Re “Democrats vs. the GOP: Do the Math,” Commentary, Aug. 1: Michael Kinsley’s argument that Democrats are better for the economy than the GOP -- based on his study using data over 43 years -- reminds me of the old story about the guy who drowned in a river that was only six inches deep, on average.
