Military Personnel to Get Protected Status
From Times Staff and Wires
Illinois Gov. Rod R. Blagojevich plans to sign into law a bill that adds members of the National Guard and military Reserves to the state’s Human Rights Act as a protected class.

Pat Quinn. “It ranges from problems with employers, to landlords.... It’s not right, and this law will ensure that there are legal protections.”
