Using guilt as a gauge for your party affiliation

“Band of Broadsiders” (Aug. 19) quotes some conservative comics as saying, “You know you’re a liberal if you feel guilty about things that happened over 200 years ago that you had nothing to do with.”

I’d like to respond that you know you’re a conservative if you don’t feel guilty about things that are happening right now.
