Ford May Send Electric Cars to Norway

Ford Motor Co. said it might avoid having to crush about 350 Think City electric cars that can’t be reused in the U.S. after leases end, because Norway, where the vehicles were built, might accept them.
The automaker and government officials in Norway discussed “ways to overcome obstacles” to reusing the cars, Ford Vice President Timothy O’Brien said.
Ford’s announcement came after environmental groups in the U.S. and Europe criticized the company for its plan to crush the vehicles rather than return them to Norway.
