Alexander S. Arredondo, 20, of Randolph, Mass.; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Arredondo was killed Wednesday in enemy action in Najaf. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable), 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

Christopher Belchik, 30, of Jersey, Ill.; corporal, Marine Corps. Belchik was killed Aug. 22 in enemy action in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Jason Cook, 25, of Okanogan, Wash.; sergeant, Marine Corps. Cook was among four Marines killed Aug. 21 in enemy action in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

Kevin A. Cuming, 22, of North White Plains, N.Y.; private first class, Army. Cuming was killed Aug. 21 when his patrol came under rocket-propelled grenade attack in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Donald N. Davis, 42, of Saginaw, Mich.; staff sergeant, Army Reserve. Davis was killed Tuesday when a tractor and tanker trailer rolled over an embankment in Fallouja. He was assigned to the 660th Transportation Company, Army Reserve in Zanesville, Ohio.

Barton R. Humlhanz, 23, of Hellertown, Pa.; corporal, Marine Corps. Humlhanz was killed Thursday in enemy action in Babil province. He was assigned to Marine Expeditionary Unit Service Support Group 24, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Seth Huston, 19, Perryton, Texas; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Huston was among four Marines killed Aug. 21 in enemy action in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

Richard M. Lord, 24, of Jacksonville, Fla.; sergeant, Marine Corps. Lord was killed Aug. 18 in enemy action in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Jacob R. Lugo, 21, of Flower Mound, Texas; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Lugo was killed Tuesday in enemy action in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, Calif.

Ryan A. Martin, 22, of Mount Vernon, Ohio; private first class, Army National Guard. Martin was one of two soldiers killed Aug. 20 when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle near Samarra. He was assigned to the 216th Engineer Battalion, Army National Guard in Hamilton, Ohio.

Charles L. Neeley, 19, of Mattoon, Ill.; specialist, Army Reserve. Neeley was killed Wednesday when his tractor-trailer rolled over as he attempted to access a pontoon bridge in Tikrit. He was assigned to the 454th Transportation Company, Army Reserve in Columbus, Ohio.

Edward T. Reeder, 32, of Camp Verde, Ariz.; gunnery sergeant, Marine Corps. Reeder was killed Aug. 21 in a noncombat-related vehicle incident in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the Headquarters and Service Battalion, 1st Force Service Support Group, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

Marco D. Ross, 20, of Memphis; specialist, Army. Ross was killed Wednesday when his camp in Baghdad came under mortar attack. He was assigned to the 115th Forward Support Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Matthew R. Stovall, 25, of Horn Lake, Miss.; second lieutenant, Army National Guard. Stovall was killed Aug. 22 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle in Mosul. He was assigned to the 367th Maintenance Company, 298th Corps Support Battalion, Army National Guard in Philadelphia, Miss.

Robert C. Thornton Jr., 35, of Rainbow City, Ala.; staff sergeant, Army. Thornton was killed Monday when his patrol came under rocket-propelled grenade attack in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.
