Cougars End USC’s Streak

PROVO, Utah — Camille LeNoir’s tying three-point attempt fell short at the buzzer as the USC women’s basketball team fell to Brigham Young, 76-73, in a nonconference game Saturday night at the Marriott Center, snapping the Trojans four-game winning streak.
USC (5-3) trailed, 39-36, at halftime, then took a seven point lead with 14:30 to play. But BYU (6-2) answered with a 9-2 run to tie, 56-56.
BYU’s Julie Sullivan had 21 points. Ambrosia Anderson had 15 points and nine rebounds.
Meghan Gnekow had 19 points and eight rebounds for USC.
