Rebels End Traffic Ban on Road to Katmandu

Nepal’s Maoist rebels called off a traffic ban on a major road to the capital, Katmandu, after pleas from human rights activists and mass protests from residents, a radio station said.
The rebels imposed the ban last week to press for information on missing comrades and protest alleged killings of their members in custody.
