Homeless Agencies Get $4.4 Million From HUD

A federal housing agency has awarded $4.4 million to four local nonprofits that serve the homeless, officials said.
Grants from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, which will be disbursed over three years, will help the roughly 19,000 homeless in Fresno and Madera counties.
