U.S. Soldier Sentenced for Fleeing Fatal Crash

An American soldier was sentenced to three years in a South Korean prison for fleeing a drunk-driving accident that killed a South Korean woman and injured three others.
Sgt. Jerry S. Onken, 33, of Onamia, Minn., had admitted drinking beer and whiskey hours before his car collided with the victims’ vehicles Nov. 28.
