* Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc., owner of the Sheraton and Westin chains, said fourth-quarter profit fell 4%. Net income dropped to $87 million, or 42 cents a share, from $91 million, or 45 cents, a year earlier, when one-time gains doubled profit. Revenue rose 3.1% to $1.2 billion, the White Plains, N.Y.-based company said.

* Electronic Data Systems Corp. had a fourth-quarter loss of $354 million as the company wrote down costs to build a telecommunications network for the Navy. The net loss was 74 cents a share, contrasted with net income of $360 million, or 75 cents, a year earlier, the Plano, Texas-based company said. Sales rose 5.4% to $5.76 billion.

* THQ Inc., the Calabasas-based maker of “Finding Nemo” and “WWE Raw” video games, said its fiscal third-quarter profit rose to $30.4 million, or 78 cents a share, from $3.13 million, or 8 cents, a year earlier. Revenue rose 34% to $293.1 million.

* Sega Corp., the Tokyo-based maker of “Sonic the Hedgehog” games, said net income increased 92% to $73 million in the April-to-December period compared with a year earlier. Revenue edged down 4.1% to $1.4 billion.
