Nobel-Winning Chemist Accepts University Post

Mario Molina, winner of the 1995 Nobel Prize for chemistry, has accepted a faculty post at UC San Diego, officials announced.

Molina, of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will become the 16th Nobel Prize winner at UC San Diego. His work involved pointing out the threat poised to the ozone layer by chlorofluorocarbon gases.
