Quick Hearings Over Super Bowl Show

Re “TV Content Leads to Capitol Threat,” Feb. 12: Wow, only 10 days since Janet Jackson flashed the country and we have congressional hearings. Children are hungry and without medical care. Seniors have difficulty paying for prescriptions. A grocery strike with 70,000 people out of work. Do we have quick hearings on these problems? No. But a woman bares a breast for three seconds on TV. Wow, what a horrible thing. The politicians are quick to react to this problem. What am I missing here? I guess I don’t have the same priorities that these elected officials have.
