Guess Inc.

* Los Angeles-based apparel company Guess Inc. swung to a profit in the fourth quarter, reporting net income of $11.8 million, or 27 cents a share, in contrast to a net loss of $4.6 million, or 11 cents, a year earlier. Total sales rose 19% to $199.3 million, while same-store sales rose 11.7%.
