Bill Plaschke, please quit crying that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar doesn’t have a statue in front of Staples Center (Kareem Looks for His Shot Again, Feb. 15), when the Great Western Forum still borders Kareem Court.
Meanwhile, where are Dionne Drive, Gretzky Avenue, Dave Taylor Street, Chamberlain Road, Baylor Boulevard (especially appropriate next to the Staples Center, where Elgin’s Clippers play) and the Jerry West Highway?
