69 Alleged Al Qaeda Militants Are Indicted
From Times Wire Reports
Turkish prosecutors indicted 69 alleged Al Qaeda militants suspected in November suicide bombings in Istanbul that killed more than 60 people.
Prosecutors demanded life imprisonment for five of the suspects and sentences of up to 22 1/2 years for the rest, the Anatolian news agency reported. All the suspects are Turks.
