Stars lined up for ‘Boulevard’ reading

Anjelica Huston is preparing for her close-up as Norma Desmond in a reading of “Sunset Boulevard,” to be presented as a benefit for the Actors’ Fund of America at the Pantages Theatre on April 4.

Although the script’s younger leading man has yet to be cast, Ben Kingsley will play Norma’s devoted Max. Stanley Donen will read the role of Cecil B. DeMille, and Stefanie Powers will play Hedda Hopper.

David Rambo adapted the screenplay, and Peter Hunt will direct.
