“Suburbia Gains an Accent” (Commentary, Dec. 28) aptly mirrors Glendale today. We settled here in the late ‘60s from the Philippines for Glendale’s excellent school system. We might mention that the spouse of the sole Anglo member of our City Council hails from the Philippines.
