From Times Wire Reports

Conservationists won a legal fight to protect Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbor when the territory’s highest court rejected a government appeal seeking to fill in 74 acres for a road, a park and commercial space.

In July, Judge Carlye Chu said government planners ignored a law established to preserve the harbor.

Conservationists are also challenging a 44-acre reclamation project in the harbor.
